My nails were done with Essie's Mod Squad and it's seriously one of my favorite manicures I've ever done!  It was so, so easy

Today I also got to go to dinner with my mom and Grandma!  It was actually the first time The Boy had ever met my grandma, so that was really interesting.  I think everything went wonderfully though.  We ate at Olive Garden and I received a TON of  left-overs so I'm not going to starve... yaaaaaaaaa!!!

A Spring Day in Winter

So today was warm. 

Like unseasonably-60-degrees-is-it-spring warm.

I'm not a fan, therefore I decided to dress like it was cold out!

 I would just like to say, I'm in love with these boots.  I know the picture isn't that great, but they're AMAZING! And comfortable, which is always nice

Shoes: Report

 This dress is one of my favorites too.  I bought it a few years ago, but didn't really wear it after I got it, which was crazy of me.  It's seriously so comfortable and makes my legs look way awesome.  It also has some cool jewel detailing that's hidden by the scarf which just helps make it more versatile!  I'm a sucker for anything I can wear more than one way!

On a very, very side note, I'm thinking about getting bangs. Anyone have any thoughts as to yea or nay?  I'm thinking longer, more side-swept bangs than short blunt ones.

Back to School

Hello again!

I un-intentionally took a little break over the holidays, but I'm back!

Since it was the first day back at school, I went with the traditional "wear everything you got for Christmas" outfit. Overall, I'd say it turned out quite well!

I got this for Christmas too!  From The Boy of course... It's so pretty!

Since today was the first day of school, I went school shopping!  As a Junior, I've learned that I really don't need many school supplies, so I stuck with just buying some pens and two 3 subject notebooks. They looked kind of boring, so I made them pretty.

I bought some stickers and separated the notebooks into when my classes are so I don't have to worry about having my notes with me! The stickers were just the right thing to make them not-so-boring notebooks

Another Long Night

Whelp. I stayed up again all night again.

Staying up all night doesn't mean you can't put on real people clothes though!  That, and I had a presentation and had to look like a human being

One thing I've learned from living in the dorms is that my stuff will forever be wrinkled.  This is usually because I am a lazy bum and don't hang things up right away, but also it costs $2.50 to do one load of laundry so I usually wear things a few times.

It's really not as gross as it sounds... I promise!

Things I learned today:

1. Rain three days in a row is no fun, especially when campus is flooded

2. Neverland on SyFy is a decent miniseries!

3. It's a bad idea to not have a case on your phone and drop it

Ah well, at least I got some sleep last night!

Just Another Manic... Thursday?

Sometimes, life gets crazy.

Sometimes, you don't sleep for 2 days and functioning is hard...

... But that doesn't mean you can't dress well for the day!

This is actually the first time I've ever worn a leather skirt, and I LOVE IT!  I just felt awesome in it all day. That's what wearing clothes should be like too, you should feel amazing in them!

On a random side note, I got the skirt at this really cool vintage store in Edinburgh (Scotland, not Indiana) last spring.  If I could have, I probably would have bought 60% of the store

Now, onto more pretty things!

NERD ALERT: I had one of my friends today tell me that my necklace looked like a horcrux. I told her that it wasn't mine and I was holding onto it for someone. We then discussed whether or not wearing said horcrux would affect my personality and whether or not I was really me anymore. Yep, that's how I roll.

First of all, I feel that I should inform you that I love cupcakes.

Mmmm... Yummy!

Besides cupcakes, I love fashion, clothes, and travel!  The whole "loving cupcakes" and "fitting into my jeans" thing can present some problems sometimes though...

I'm studying abroad in England right now, which is AMAZING.  I'll admit, I'm a little ready to go home though.  I didn't think I would miss the States so much!  I can't wait to get back and see my family, my friends and my sorority sisters.,. and to bake again!  Expect some delicious treats in the next few months 

At the moment, life's a little crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
